Toni Cots and Esther Freixa i Ràfols have collaborated since 2007, establishing a continuous dialogue related to the Performing Arts. Together they have created an artistic language that confronts the gaze of the viewer by using a variety of approaches to the body and the text, characterized by a poetics of intimacy, and searching for a theatrical form that can become a place shared with the spectator.
Their last creation Medea (a la carte) has been shown 154 times for the past fifteen years in Spain, Italy, Germany, Lebanon, Mexico, Venezuela and Argentina.
30 years – a poetic act of resistance is the continuation of this process, started 17 years ago.
They also collaborate in the cultural management of CRA’P – Artistic creation and research practices, implementing different proposals and activities based on research, creation, training, and production.
